Patten is, and has been a while, the store kitty for Optical Works, near my house. He’s a pretty good greeter… most of the time.

I really like this, but I tried it rotated every possible way and it looks upside down in every direction. WTF?
Sebastian is three months old, and already out exploring the streets of San Francisco with his pop! And he LOVES it! He was like ‘oh hi please come over here and pet me now okay?’ and I, not being made of stone, was like ‘okay’.
I was returning from the Surf Day and I stopped by a little tea shop in Pacifica on my way back. And while I was standing next to the Pacific Coast Highway, which admittedly was bumper to bumper at that point, I noticed that someone on the road was a little more permissive with his pup than I think I would be.
The followup pics I promised. I found Rusty chilling out after his competition. The groomer did a pretty amazing job on him, didn’t she? I mean, the spots absolutely look real.
In case anyone’s curious, Rusty’s mom dropped by in yesterday’s comment section and left a link to the groomer, Gabriel Feitosa, down in SoCal. And she also mentioned Rusty’s Instagram, RustyTheSurfingMinPin, which has some pretty cute pics. (But don’t take my word for it!)
This is the last set of surfers I have for you. I was going to post them earlier but their owner suggested I email her because I wanted to know who had done the absolutely incredible paint-I-mean-grooming job on the little leopard, and she said she’d tell me. But unfortunately she put her email address into my phone wrong, so I guess I’m going to miss out on telling you that. Sorry!
I will, however, have some ‘followup’ pictures of him on the beach, tomorrow. And I did get their names (Rusty is the leopard). They won the ‘dog/dog tandem’ category!
