Taffy is nine months old, and is spherical to a first order approximation, and is roughly 90% floof by unit volume. Some settling may occur in shipping. Do not squeeze.
Oh fine, go ahead and squeeze. She loves hugs.

As of a few years ago and a silly Twitter account, the fog in San Francisco has got a name, and that name is Karl. (Which is only fair, I mean if the rain is Tess, the fire is Joe, and they call the wind Mariah, I think Karl deserves a name too!)
And now enter this young (4.5 months) pooch, Karl the fog dog!

We have been posting pictures of Bosco (ten!) since 2017. Not only does he look identical to how he looked back then, he also has just as much energy and enthusiasm as he did back then. This is roughly similar to a human being having as much energy and enthusiasm at my age as he did at age 18, and is deeply, deeply unfair.

Admittedly I’m no expert, but I actually think that these two are different species! The one in the front has a yellow bill, which would make it a great egret, while the one in the back has a black one, which makes it a snowy (or a hybrid of some kind maybe?)

I was on my way home from hitting the farmer’s market and Costco and the wine store on the bus today — there’s a bus stop right near Costco and the wine store for the bus that stops 20 feet from my apartment, yay! — and I ran across this sassy little kitten. His name is Toulouse, for Henri Toulouse-Latutrec of course, and he is three months old and was on his way to the vet for some childhood vaccines. He was pretty calm, thanks to some kitty drugs, but definitely wanted to go exploring.
