Posting is going to be pretty spotty for the next week: I am super busy and have also recently (momentarily) dislocated my right thumb. Which is a bad combination.
On the other hand, a long-haired miniature dachshund and a golf cart? GOOD combination.

He barkbarkbarked at me until we were introduced. Apparently wherever that cart goes is automatically his territory.

He was still a bit skeptical afterwards, but willing to meet me halfway.
Haven’t seen nearly enough of these pups on here.

We should come up with a more pleasant name for these guys than ‘bloodhound’, even if it is appropriate for Halloween. How about ‘velvet-eared cuddler’?
Surely this must be the very queen of floof!
A kitty I met today! She was impatient with my photographic shenanigans and eager to have her cheeks rubbed.

Obviously vicious guard cat.

See? LOOK AT THE TEEFS!
Iris lost her leg in a tragic high-speed collision. No, she wasn’t hit by a car: she hit a rock at high speed. I would say ‘fortunately it hasn’t slowed her down any’, except in this case it’s more like ‘fortunately it seems to have slowed her down a little bit’ since she still has her three other legs!
PS: Wow, is this really our first berger picard? Still having firsts after all these years.
I took these last year… how did I forget to post them until now? Joy was only sixteen weeks old in these pictures and had just graduated from San Francisco Puppy Prep. And man, she was proud as heck!
These folks have marigolds in planters next to their front porch, which is concrete and raised about three feet off the ground. There’s a crack in the front porch, too. Which they have also planted a marigold in. I love it.
Is it Caturday? Sure didn’t seem like it… I worked all day today, and then come home to try to deal with furnace problems in my RV before it got down to 27 degrees (Fahrenheit, natch) tonight and froze all my water. And to think I was going to do laundry tonight.
Instead, meet two kitties. The piebald (black and white) is Willow, and the supremely goofy one is Punkin.
Well, really it’s two dogs and a dogbutt (and a human), but whachagonnado?
