Short post today, because I am wiped out! But you still get an awesome dog. Meet Cayleigh Mae! She’s six, and happy as the day is long.

First: Good Tidus tidings! His doctor says that he is doing well, and should be able to start doing a bit of walking for himself sometime in the next week or so. For an injury that could have paralyzed his back half for life, that’s so great! Hooray, Tidus! Autumn and I got him a ‘get well soon’ squeaky-toy, and he is apparently enjoying it enough to drive his parents to distraction. Yay!
In celebration of this good news, I am posting a celebratory 3-month-old corgi puppy, whose name I didn’t catch because I was too busy squealing like an elementary school girl.
Mika! She’s 8 months old, and oh my god she is the best subject ever. I took so many pictures of her, and it was so hard to choose!
* Gratuitous hovertext reference note: Aniseed (aka anice) has a similar effect on some dogs as catnip does on cats, though it tends to be less pronounced.
Ran into these two out at Ocean Beach. Don’t see a lot of Dober-men (and Dober-women?) around San Francisco, but they’re a lot of fun when I do run into them.
Ran into this pup down on Polk Street, but if I remember right (I’m doing this from memory, not from notes), he and his mom were actually visiting from Florida. And mom was a vet, so you know he’s well-treated. He’s barely more than a puppy, about 1.5 years old.
Edit: Oops! I just heard from his mom, below… the woman in the picture was indeed a vet from Florida, but Tito is from San Francisco. Which means I might just be lucky enough to run into him again. Yay!
Edit x2: Boy I suck. The woman in the picture is Tito’s mom. The vet from Florida is present, but not actually in any pictures. And Tito is still adorable.
I ran into this kitty while I was wandering around not far from the SF Zoo.
Someone was looking all innocent and then ambushing passers-by.
Quick post from the road today. Spent the evening at a nice concert, at the home of Tillie the dog. She still has good taste in music… here she is appreciating it from the front row.
And here she is hanging out during intermission.
Doesn’t she have great eyebrows?
