I feel like a pupil who hasn’t prepared properly for a test. This guy reminds me of something besides dachshund, but I can’t for the life of me think of what it is, except that it’s a medium-sized breed. Help?

I haven’t posted a berninator in quite some time. I’ve been saving this one up since the Swiss Dog Day, and now that we’re into the short days, and nearly into December, I think we deserve a little brain-melting cuteness.
Autumn was just saying that she wanted a Berner yesterday. Really, how could you not?

Given the floppy eartips, I’d have to guess that he’s a German shpeherd/dachshund mix.
Oh man. This is why I don’t go to dog shelters. One grin like that and I’d be taking home a pup, no-pets apartment or no.

There was a puppy in the pet store that this was held at for a while. The kittens were all totally absorbed by him. Not scared, just… fascinated.
A lot of these kittens were from the same litter. Surprisingly different colorations… but then, one litter of cats can have multiple fathers, apparently.
Personal favorite: cats with little grey nosies.
This one has already gotten the ‘please adopt me’ look down pat.
If they’d been ready to adopt out, I’m not sure I wouldn’t have gone home with all three of these guys in my pockets. Resistance… crumbling…
