Just to round out a week of astonishing cute, here’s Tilly, the six-month-old Berner. She has an Instagram. You know what to do.

So I’m not saying I had a really good Thanksgiving break. I’m just saying that every single dog picture I have posted this week was taken last Thursday or Friday. You can be the judge.

Dog of the Day: Franklin the 13-Week-Old Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy

So it’s probably worth noting that I ran into more than one puppy on the same day I ran into Winston (and Pepper). And that although Franklin here is within a week of the same age as Winston, he’s like six times his size already. It is hard to say which one is cuddlier but I’m going to have to go with “whichever one happens to be in front of me right at the moment.”

Dog of the Day: Winston the Unknown Mixed Breed

Oh my dear sweet lord. Winston is a 12-week-old little bundle of AWWW with his own Instagram (worriedwinston) and everything. Which you should go check out. Because if you think these pictures are cute you may go into cardiac arrest when you get there.

Actually, maybe you shouldn’t go there, because I need all my visitors to stay healthy and happy.

Anyway, I have some very vague guesses as to what he might be but I really think I’m going to need to wait until he’s a little older before I indulge in them.

Dog of the Day: The Golden Retriever Tibetan Spaniel Mix With No Name

I ran into this pup today! (In the rain.) He’s only 10 months old, and his mom hasn’t even named him yet, since she’s only had him a week and is trying to get a feel for his personality. So I agreed to post him and ask for suggestions. Please click through to the blog and make suggestions in the comments!

Mom likes French names. I suggested Napoleon, but the more I think about it the more I think he looks like a Robespierre. He’s even got the right hair color! And he is certainly his very own one-dog reign of terrier. Plus you can call him ‘Pierre’ or ‘Robby’ for short.

(Oh I walked through the city with a Tibetan spaniel mix with no name, it felt good to be out in the rain…)
