Autumn and I were walking along, and Autumn said, ‘Hey, that looks like a Small Münsterländer!’ And lo, it was.

Just to keep you all up to date: the site randomly decides whether it wants to post my updates or not. I have to manually check later in the day to see if my last post went through.
Think I’m going to need to experiment with a different hosting setup and see if that’s the problem.
Ran into this little gal when I was out and about with some friends of mine. She was locked in a pickup truck for a couple minutes while dad ran into a house to grab something, and REALLY REALLY wanted to come out and play with us. Just as we were leaving, dad came out and got her and I snapped a couple shots.

They’re outside a local Polk Street cafe. It’s always a great place for dog-watching.
Oliver totally reminds me of a cartoon dog I have seen somewhere, but I can’t remember where, or even in what context. Someone help me out here!
(It’s funny: I guess he’s been around the neighborhood for a while. Since I saw him three weeks ago I have seen him twice more, but I never saw him before. I’d remember.)
For some reason I find Oliver goofier-looking than either German shepherds or greyhounds. (That’s okay, Oliver… goofy is good!)
Oliver likes everyone: people, other dogs, whoever.

Polk Street is a fun place to take pictures, because there are so many dogs that you can watch the dogs, and then watch the dogs watching the other dogs.
And there’s a happy expression, which seems pretty typical for Oliver.
Is it just the angle of the shot, or does this dog look like she has a little corgi in her?

I have vague memories of playing like this with other kids when I was a little kid. Since then, I have pretty much exclusively wrestled dogs.
Look at those vicious faces. You can tell they are Deadly Killers™.

Am not sure what is going on with the poodle mix’s muzzle. Fuzzy?
No idea what this guy is. Maybe Autumn will have a clue.

I really miss this dog park. Lafayette Park has been shut down for over a year now for construction. I hear it’s going to be a lot less of a dog park, and more of a children’s park, once it reopens, but it will be a lot better than it is right now (which is ‘entirely fenced in’.)
This little mob is pretty typical of what Lafayette Park looked like on a Sunday afternoon, before the renovations started.
The expressions are great, and I love the cheerful Sheltie in the background.
Have to remember to get some of Autumn’s cat pictures for next week.
In the mean time, I do love that cat’s grin. You think he or she knows something we don’t?
For someone who rarely shops at Macy’s, I sure do get a lot of mileage out of them.
