I turned out to only have one picture of the Weimaraner. Fortunately, I forgot to post one awesome picture of yesterday’s pit bull. That should round things out nicely.
I love how Weimaraner (and Vizsla) noses match their coats so beautifully. Also, lovely eyes! (Don’t mind the little bit of drool.)
He knows what he likes (having his chest scratched) and is not afraid to ask for it.
This is the same guy I posted a preview of on Friday. I found him at a dog park and boy was he having a good time.

He was pretty much in doggie heaven: another five dogs to play with, a bunch of people to greet, and then belly rubs.

Look who I ran into at the party: Lambeau, our only Tibetan mastiff and the winner of the ‘City’ Photo Contest!
Lambeau was kind of tired, although he was a lot more friendly to me when I petted him this time. Dad gave him a treat in a plastic bag, which definitely got him going. Brave man: I’d be terrified he’d start thinking all plastic bags were fair game…
This poor guy. I don’t even know what breed he is. He couldn’t see a damn thing, and basically just walked around with his nose pressed against mom’s leg. It seemed to work, though.
I like the brown one’s attitude.
Oh my god. Meet Bubba. If he doesn’t melt your heart, you should see a cardiac surgeon about getting it replaced as soon as possible.
The current theory is that Bubba is a corgi/German shepherd/something else mix. I can’t even begin to guess. But if they decided to clone him, I’ll take two.

This guy wins twice: first off, he’s batdog. Second, he’s the Adam West version.
The little head tilt really makes the picture. It was triggered by the squeaky toy I keep in my backpack.
These two were just there to enjoy the sun and giggle at all the costumes.
Someone was just a teensy bit hostile. Can’t blame her… she was totally overstimulated, and probably pretty tired to boot. But she definitely wasn’t having any of me.
She kept running back to mom for protection, and then back out to bark at me.
Sorry I missed yesterday. It’s a really busy time for me at work, and will probably continue to be pretty busy until Wednesday.

Ran into these two when Autumn and I went to Little Yosemite, last February.
Work is really getting to me. Big big big deadline next Wednesday, on a project that nobody actually understands yet. This strikes me as a bad idea, but hey… customers, right? “The goal of Computer Science is to build something that will last at least until we’ve finished building it”… and even by that, ah, ‘modest’ standard, I’m not sure we’re making very good decisions.
So here’s something a little goofy to cheer me — and you, should you need it — up.
This is the patented ‘Corgi Ooze’. Cats do it too. It’s the best way to passive-aggressively get out of mom’s lap so you can go off and do something naughty, without technically breaking any rules by actually struggling.
Yes, that’s two more in bee costumes, Mr. Slippery in a cowboy costume, and one of our supermen in the back. For those of you keeping score at home, that brings the Corgi Count to seven: two supermen (supermans?), two bees, a gunslinger, a hot dog, and a zombie (I think).
For some reason, the corgis in bee costumes seemed to really be having a great time. Both this one…
…and this one. Aw man. That’s one happy face.
Meanwhile, the sheriff was off “rustlin’ up some grub.” (Oh my god look at the fuzzy tocks.)
