I ran into this guy at the SF gay pride parade quite a few years back. I’d like to think he’s out there somewhere, cautiously optimistic about the progress of gay rights in the US.
The Lab mix is Andy, and I forgot to take down the name of the Lab puppy. Andy totally looks like he might have some Italian greyhound in him. Very sleek, very fast, and about the size of an 8-month-old Lab puppy.
They got along like a house on fire.
I always get these guys and the English springer spaniels mixed up. Same colors, different almost-everything-else.
Incidentally, as funny as it is in the background, the 'no dogs' is just referring to the grassy area, so Patch is just fine here.
Could be a long-haired German shepherd/Rottweiler. Could also be Belgian shepherd, and there are a number of other dog breeds that have similar coloration to the Rottweiler. Anyway, he’s awesome, and fully deserving of the coveted New Year’s spot.
But this is new and interesting for another reason, too… this is the first of the pictures taken with my spiffy new Canon Exilim EX-FH100. Which, yes, is a wee bit of a step up from the built in camera on my iPhone. Thanks, Autumn!

(Edit: just noticed Fozzie’s mom corrected me in the comments… he’s not a standard poodle, he’s a mini.)
What you get if you don't trim your poodle constantly. (IMO, 'a much better looking dog'. But that's just me.)
Sorry I missed a day — vacation plus jetlag plus spotty internet access plus travel preparations make for a difficult combination.
