I ran into Rocky down in the Castro, and I promised I’d make him my first Featured Dog. Why? Because he’s up for adoption, and because he’s a happy, obedient, cuddly dog who has a heck of a lot to offer to the right person. I wish I’d been able to get some better pictures, but it was raining and dark, and the iPhone (especially the newer ones) doesn’t do so well with dingy weather. But trust me, he’s a gorgeous dog. His foster mom is pretty sure he’s part Catahoula, and I agree that he does look like a Catahouligan, as it were.

And don’t be surprised if you see Rocky’s picture here again in a few months… right now we’ve had a total of about six people view this blog. Have to put him up again when a bit more of an audience can see him.
