Double (Ugly) Dog Day: Reggie and Cyndy Loo

Posted on June 25, 2013 by Adam Lang

Reggie is a Peruvian hairless dog mix (my guess is Australian cattle dog), and Rue is a Chinese crested. They’re best friends, and were out to take the Sonoma-Marin Fair by storm. They may not have won the contest, but … Continue reading →

(‘Ugly’) Dog of the Day: Sophie the Chihuahua Mix

Posted on June 23, 2013 by Adam Lang

Hmf. I almost think of this as ‘elder abuse’. Sophie is 17… even by a generous interpretation, that’s at least 102 in human years. If I’m still around at 102, I bet I won’t look so hot myself! And yet, … Continue reading →

‘Ugly’ Dog of the Day: Walle the Beagle/Basset Hound/Pit Bull (?) Mix

Posted on June 22, 2013 by Adam Lang

I dropped by the ‘Ugliest Dog’ competition up in the North Bay yesterday. I couldn’t stay long, but I got some pictures of the contestants, including the winner, Walle. (I’ll be posting more pictures over the next few days.) On … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: I Have No Idea

Posted on May 29, 2013 by Adam Lang

Husky mix, maybe? I’ll see if I can get Autumn to weigh in on this one. He was quite friendly, but very loud.

Dog of the Day: Cade the Malamute/Husky Puppy

Posted on May 28, 2013 by Adam Lang

Cade was out skateboarding with his dad (well, dad was on the skateboard and Cade was running alongside, and occasionally pulling him) while I was taking a break from my weekend dogsitting duties. And oh my god I had to … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Black Labradoodalump

Posted on May 22, 2013 by Adam Lang

This guy looks as lazy as I feel. I can’t believe I just forgot to queue a dog up for you guys for today. I’ve been doing this every day for three and a half YEARS. You’d think I’d remember … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Willow the Schnauzer/Mexican Hairless Mix

Posted on May 20, 2013 by Adam Lang

I think the breed mix is an educated guess by the owner, but it looks logical to me. Willow was a LA street dog for a while, but was adopted a few years back. She’s six now, and has settled … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Tucker the Border Collie Mix

Posted on May 19, 2013 by Adam Lang

I didn’t get any perfect pictures of Tucker, but I just had to post a picture because of the story behind his name. It seems that when he was a puppy, he would run and play and just in general … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Ollie the German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever Mix

Posted on May 13, 2013 by Adam Lang

Have I mentioned that y’all are awesome? So far we have three donations and two purchases from the DogBlogStore in support of the Benefit for Glenn Farr. (Which, for a blog of this readership, is pretty good! I’m not expecting to be … Continue reading →

Old Home Week Part 3: Wilma the Collie/Border Terrier Mix

Posted on May 8, 2013 by Adam Lang

Wilma is one of the most distinctive dogs I’ve posted on DoSF, and the pictures of her and the Dane and humongous poodle (which turns out to be a German shepherd/poodle mix!) are some of my favorites. I ran into her … Continue reading →
