I did remember to ask this pup’s name, but I think I must have been squealing too loud to hear the answer. I do remember that he was three months old, though.
Edit: A little bird tells me down in the comments that his name is Mowgli.

Emma is the store dog for an antique-y rare-book-map-and-print store in North Beach called ‘Schein And Schein‘. She welcomes everyone with polite grace, or at least did while we were there.
North Beach is a bit on the touristy side, but this is the closest thing it has to a real commercial district. Same street Al’s Attire is on.
Not tied up… just quite well-behaved.
This pup can already serve as a service dog for me. No need to train him further, I’ll just wrap him up and take him home now, thanks.
I was so distracted by the cute that I never did get his name.
It’s going to take a lot of training, I think. He just flumped over like this as soon as I showed the least bit of interest.
Dogs aren’t quite as flexible as cats, but they sure do like some silly positions.
He gave me many puppy-smooches.
I’ve always liked these things, even if they are an invasive species. The flowers are tasty, the plants are gorgeous, and they don’t show many signs of taking over large areas.
I guess the leaves and seeds are edible too, but I’ve only tried the flowers.
Lovely, tasty, easy to grow… what’s not to like?
A Macy’s kitten. I haven’t met many cats so far this year.

I ran across Voodoo Child (now 4 years old) way back in 2013, and took a bunch of totally blurry pictures. Ran across him again and was in too much of a hurry to take any pictures. But third time’s the charm!
So gangly. I bet he’s super fast.
Almost more deer-like than dog-like. Very striking eyes, too.
Autumn and I both always forget how big these guys actually are, until we run into one. Twix is 14, and quite well-mannered.
I will be charitable and assume that he would have been just as well-behaved if there had been food on the table.
Hmm. Well, maybe he’s just thirsty.
Most of my pictures of Maple came out unusable, due to contrast issues. But I just had to show him to you because he may have the longest, fluffiest, sticky-outy-est fur I’ve ever seen in my life. He has fur as long as an Old English Sheepdog does, but it stands out straight instead of flopping down. How?
Not sure what makes him so fluffy, but it’s amazing.
These two were clearly made for each other.
