I did remember to ask this pup’s name, but I think I must have been squealing too loud to hear the answer. I do remember that he was three months old, though.

Emma is the store dog for an antique-y rare-book-map-and-print store in North Beach called ‘Schein And Schein‘. She welcomes everyone with polite grace, or at least did while we were there.

North Beach is a bit on the touristy side, but this is the closest thing it has to a real commercial district. Same street Al’s Attire is on.
I’ve always liked these things, even if they are an invasive species. The flowers are tasty, the plants are gorgeous, and they don’t show many signs of taking over large areas.
Samson was 8 months old when I took these pictures, though that was nearly a year ago now.
I ran across Voodoo Child (now 4 years old) way back in 2013, and took a bunch of totally blurry pictures. Ran across him again and was in too much of a hurry to take any pictures. But third time’s the charm!
These two were clearly made for each other.
