Ran into this pup the other day. Never seen a greyhound who was this spotty before!

I don’t think we’ve ever had two features of the same dog in this short a time before! But, just a couple of days after I posted a picture of an anonymous little cute fuffy dog in a window, I found him out in front of his place relaxing with his family, so I had to stop by and get the deets! Turns out his name is Marley, he’s around 12, and he’s not a maltie-poo: his mom was a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix and nobody knows about his dad. But I’m going to guess he was probably a Maltese.
Maltie-poo maybe? I dunno. All I know is that I run across him in a window near home every once in a while, and that I should be emulating him, because although I was feeling much better this morning, I am feeling less better now. Blah. Colds suck.
Looks like while I was in Santa Cruz I picked up… something. Something nasty that skipped my head and went straight to my lungs and god I feel crappy. Insomnia means that I’m easy prey for all the viruses and bacteria out there. Need to see if I can get around 30 hours of sleep over the next three days to kick this thing.
I absolutely adore this. Mom, dad, and Zuko (1) just seem like such a happy family.
Man, did I have a weekend. Lots of music, lots of neat people, and… 14 hours of driving. To get back and forth from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, and around a bit in the Santa Cruz area. This is not a number that a person should have to drive in one weekend, let alone when that drive is a total of about 80 miles one way.
Skye is 2, and she’s little! She’s only about the size of a decent-sized golden retriever. Plus she’s got that one blue eye, which makes me think that maaaaybe there’s a little outside blood here. Although dad did say that Skye was the runt of the litter, so maybe that was all it was.
Moose is a ‘cavapoo’, and, at 5 months old, is one of the better-behaved young ones of that breed I’ve run across. Either that or he was just completely exhausted.
At some point I’m going to have to take the time to figure out how to crosspost my stuff to some of the new Twitter alternatives. And maybe Instagram too, if that’s possible now. So much to do, so many dogs to pet, so little time…
