We ran into this pup at a craft fair in Albany. A very recent rescue. She’s very territorial but very sweet.

Meet Henry the Lab/Australian Shepherd mix. Ran into him just a half-block from my apartment. I hope I run into him again, he’s a real sweetheart.
Henry's a young guy. Really energetic, and quite obedient as long as there are treats involved.
Another Hula-Hula Cat-Dog for y’all. Montana has unusual but not unprecedented (and gorgeous!) coloration for a Catahoula, and is otherwise an utterly adorable puppy who loves people and other dogs.
Pretty blue eyes, and mostly white, but I don't think she has any hearing problems. (Plus, bonus Rottie in the background!)

Damn shadows on the eyes. Maybe at some point I'll spend some time with photoshop trying to erase them.

Could be some pit in the unknown guy, could be some lab, I dunno. While I’m not 100% certain about the Portuguese water dog, I think it’s pretty likely.
Picture was taken right next to AT&T stadium. No idea if that's one of the Portuguese Water Dogs that (used to?) fetch the baseballs that fly out into the water.
Portuguese water dogs make great 'puppy speed bumps'.

Sierra is a cute little pup, but she is super-shy. She’s a rescue dog, which explains a lot right there, and whippets can be a little on the nervous side at the best of times.
Look at the body language: ears partway back, tail tucked so far between the legs that it comes out the front.
A little less freaked out. Probably because she's no longer looking at me.

Min-Pins always look like chihuahuas to me, but apparently they were bred from Italian greyhounds and dachshunds. Go figure.
