Dog of the Day: Maddy-Pup the Akita/Siberian Husky Mix

Posted on August 26, 2011 by Adam Lang

Husky/akita is what mom says. She’s huge, though, so might be part malamute instead. Anyway, she is certainly the embodiment of all that is fluffy. She’s 8 years old, but it doesn’t seem to have slowed her down much.

Dog of the Day: Hash the Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix Puppy

Posted on August 25, 2011 by Adam Lang

I’m actually not sure… mom said Hash was a pit bull/lab mix, but I’m going to have to go with Staffordshire/Lab. Looking at the face, he looks a lot like one, plus he’s sort of squat to be a pit … Continue reading →

Double Dog Day: Lab/Basenji Mix (?) and Pug Mix

Posted on August 22, 2011 by Adam Lang

Today’s post is a good illustration of one of the difficulties of dog park photography. I was just settling down to take some pictures of this lovely pooch, when I was so rudely interrupted. (The breed mix is just a … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Dodge the Shiba Inu/Chow Mix

Posted on August 19, 2011 by Adam Lang

Meet Dodge. Dodge is a Shiba/Chow mix who goes around busting down all the stereotypes of standoffish Asian dogs. And grinning. A lot.

Dog of the Day: Bella the Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix

Posted on August 17, 2011 by Adam Lang

The breed amounts to a bunch of random guesswork between myself and Bella’s dad. One thing for sure, though: she’s got the outgoing personality of the pit/Lab. (Sorry about the lack of post yesterday: I got home pretty late, and … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Labrador Retriever Mix

Posted on August 11, 2011 by Adam Lang

Was walking down the street near my apartment when I spotted this pup gazing soulfully out of his second story window at me. Every once in a while he gave this little dispirited-sounding bark. Is that safe? Leaving your dog … Continue reading →

(Slightly Late) Dog of the Day: Lucy the Adorable Lab/Golden Mix Puppy

Posted on August 10, 2011 by Adam Lang

To make up for the late post, here is an 8-week-old puppy that deserves all of the superlatives that I can muster. SO CUTE! (I know the site’s been having some odd issues today. Not sure what to make of … Continue reading →

Dog of the Day: Lizzy the Shetland Sheepdog/Golden Retriever Mix

Posted on August 9, 2011 by Adam Lang

Lizzy’s mom said she was a Sheltie mix. If that’s so, then I’m going to guess that the other half is golden retriever. She does bear a distinct resemblance to the Finnish Spitz, but the muzzle shape and coloration is … Continue reading →
